Mihaela Pohaci is one of the most experienced Romanian certified tax advisors, with more than 25 years of tax consultancy, out of which 15 years in Big Four.
Mihaela provides assistance and advice to multinational companies on a wide range of tax and business matters, covering international tax planning, location of shareholders & capitalization of the Romanian entities, withholding taxes, cross-border and domestic financing and leasing transactions.
Mihaela has also extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, in spin offs & other business transformations from various industries (e.g. energy, pharma, financing, real estate, IT & telecommunication, manufacturing). She advises clients in relation to joint ventures projects in infrastructure, airports construction/operation and power stations refurbishment.
Mihaela is a member of the Romanian Tax Advisors Chamber and International Fiscal Association. She is also a frequent speaker at conferences and regularly joining the working groups assisting the Ministry of Finance on the amendment of the Fiscal Code.
Education
Mihaela Pohaci holds a Degree in Economics from the Academy of Economic Studies of Bucharest. She attended International Tax Academy courses with IBFD.
